I’m a senior Bioengineering student on the pre-med track, with a specific interest in decreasing healthcare disparities in rural areas. At UMD, I’m an alumna of the Integrated Life Sciences program and the Initiation Chair of Tau Beta Pi. My favorite on-campus activity is raising guide and PTSD dogs through Terps Raising Pups! I’ve completed two internships with the NIH focusing on cell development and antibiotic resistance, and I’m currently working as a caregiver in the memory care unit of a senior facility. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, being outdoors, and traveling-I recently spent a semester abroad in Madrid, Spain! I’m looking forward to meeting you all!
