I am a rising junior studying biological sciences: physiology and neurobiology. I am currently interning as a research assistant at the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology (IMET) in downtown Baltimore. I am a team leader for the Maryland Mentor Corps. I am also a certified counselor for the Crisis Text Line. I have been a research assistant in an HBCD lab at UMD for the past two semesters. In my free time, I like hanging out with friends, watching movies, and dancing. I am very excited to be a Pre-Med student ambassador for the upcoming year and help other students on the same track.  I hope to become either an anesthesiologist or cardiologist.
