This panel presentation was held on March 29, 2012 and included representatives from the University of Maryland at Baltimore who discussed the collaborative approach to health challenges, the broad array of career opportunities in the health professions, and the details of the University of Maryland, Baltimore programs.

2014 AMCAS Presentation by AAMC

MD/PHD Student Panel (April 28, 2011)

Panelists are 2011 applicants and two 3rd year MD/PhD students from UMDSOM. They will talk about what they know now that they wish they knew then, what they learned about schools that is hard to glean from the MSAR guide but only becomes evident when you visit the schools, what the application and interview process is like for this unique program, etc. Adam Fisch and Tim Feeney, our 3rd year MD/PhD students, will share what it is really like once you are in the graduate years and what they are learning as students in the program. They will touch on strategies and styles they used during their interviews, etc.

MD/PhD Presentation (April 13, 2011)

Dr. Terry Rogers, Director of the UMDSOM MD/PhD Program discussed the MSTP program at UMD and the path of a physician scientist in general. This meeting was hosted by the Pre-Medical Society on April 13, 2011.
